My friends at @doubledaybooks sent me a copy of #ATipForTheHangman by #AllisonEpstein. I love #historicalfiction books and this sound perfect for the recent snowy weather we got. ⠀

TLDR: My bookmarks were featured on @forbes !⠀

January was a crazy month! We said good riddance to 2020 and welcomed a new year. We saw an attempt to disrupt democracy and inaugurated a new President. This month was stressful and I coped by sticking my nose in books periodically glancing at headlines and drawing these lovely bookspines. ⠀

I saw #BrokenInTheBestPossibleWay by @thebloggess (@henryholtbooks @macmillan.audio)recommended on Instagram and noticed I was gifted a copy from @librofm . I was immediately hooked and laughed throughout the entire book. I sat down to eat some noodles on my lunch break while listening to it and ended up spraying noodles all over the living room laughing. ⠀

Happy #Pubday to #AThousandShips by @nataliehaynesauthor . Thank you @harperbooks for sending me an advanced copy! I love #GreekMythology and was a huge fan of #Circe by #MadelineMiller. If you enjoyed her book #TheSongofAchilles or #TheSilenceoftheGirls by #PatBarker, then this is going to be a must-read for you. ⠀

I recently listened to the #audiobook of #TheLostApothecary by @SarahPenner thanks to @netgalley and it was phenomenal! I had coincidentally started my own #apothecary so a lot of the herb references I understood. This was a phenomenal read that was well written and had really great characters. This book comes out in early March and you do not want to miss it. Thank you @parkrowbooks for sending me an advanced copy! ⠀
